My younger sister Anna , bought the pattern and fabrics in Florida and pressed the pieces to the background. I zigzagged the edges with invisible thread to the background navy fabric.  We gave it to our older sister, Gerry, before Christmas last year. It was already to hang and her husband put it the only spot left on their walls. Yea! ~ Barb Elliott
