Big Sister

A few years ago, a woman was sent my way by God. I had to leave town and wanted to leave [her] something to remember me by. I had the pattern for Big Sister and couldn’t find anything more suitable for such a friend. I made it for her and finished it in a rather unusual way. She loved it and so did I. Today Big Sister is in a place of honor at her house.

Abilene Summer Music Festival Donation Quilt

This one is a donation quilt to the Abilene Summer Music Festival to be raffled or sold to raise money for scholarships. It was such fun. I’ve had it hanging in my office and am having a difficult time parting with it, but tonight it will be given to Hardin-Simmons University to support the orchestra camp for middle and high school students that occurs in June of each year. My daughter attended for four years and absolutely loved it.
